The International Coalition for the Responsibility to Protect (ICRtoP) is a global network that promotes the advancement of the Responsibility to Protect. The Responsibility to Protect is a landmark norm that seeks to prevent and halt genocide, crimes against humanity, war crimes, and ethnic cleansing.
ICRtoP brings together non-governmental organizations from a range of sectors around the world (human rights, humanitarian, peace & security, genocide prevention, refugees, women’s rights, faith-based, conflict prevention, and peace building) to raise awareness of the norm and consolidate the support of governments, officials, and civil society at the international, regional, and sub-regional levels. ICRtoP also serves as a catalyst for action in cases of imminent or occurring mass atrocities.

Wire Transfers
It is possible to donate directly to ICRtoP by wire or electronic funds transfer:
1.) Send a pledge letter noting your intention to donate to ICRtoP. This can be a simple email message along the lines of the example below. The email should include your name, phone number, and mailing address (this information is solely for our records; ICRtoP does not sell, rent, or trade the names, phone numbers, addresses, or email addresses of donors).
The following is an example of a pledge email:
“This is a letter pledging a donation for ICRtoP in the amount X dollars/Euros. This is an unrestricted gift for general support of ICRtoP’s work. I would like to give my donation via wire transfer to the ICRtoP The Hague/New York bank account.”

2.) ICRtoP will then acknowledge receipt of the pledge notice and send you the specific wire information for you to proceed with the donation.
